Candy Canes

Materials:

-Polyacryl in red and white

- crochet Hook C & D

- fiberfill 

- wire 
Abbreviations:
ch - chain
sc - single crochet
sl st – slip stitch 
st – stitch 
MR - Magicring 
hdc - half double crochet 
BL - back loop only 
inc - increase
dec - decrease 
rep - repeat the bracket x times

Candy Cane medium 

crochet Hook C in white 

R1 MR, sc6, sl st  (6)

R2 ch, (sc inc) rep 5x, sl st (12)

R3 ch, BL sc4, pause

Start the red thread  4st before the 1st white st in R3 and sc til paused thread

Now alternately white and red til wanted Length

Then in red sl st in next st and fasten off. Fill with fiberfill and stick in the wire.

In white

sc til red sl st, sl st in next st, ch, (sc dec) rep 5x, fasten off. Before closing put in the wire. Form the Candy Cane.

Mini Candy cane  

Crochet Hook C in white

R1 MR, sc6, sl st (6)

R2 ch,  BL sc3, pause

Start the red thread 3st before the 1st white st in R2 and sc til paused thread

Now alternately white and red til wanted Length

Then in red sl st in next st and fasten off. 

In white

sc til red sl st, sl st in next st, fasten off. Before closing put in the wire. Form the Candy Cane.
